The theme for World Environment Day 2026 is“Inspired by Nature. For Climate.For Our Future.” World environmental day observed on 6/6/26 at Ahalia College of Nursing with the objective of creating awareness about environmental protection and promoting sustainable practices among students and staff. A sapling planting activity was organized on college campus. Various medicinal and shade giving plants (6 saplings) were planted to promote a greener environment. The saplings were planted by Alby K Peter, K. Anoop, Mohammed Hashim, Mohammed Shahin (Third year Bsc. Nursing students) and Malavika, Devika (Second year BSc. Nursing students). All the teaching and nonteaching staffs and second year and third year Bsc. Nursing students were participated in this programme. The World Environmental Day celebration was conducted successfully with enthusiastic participation from students and staff. The events reinforced the importance of environmental responsibility and inspired participants to take positive actions for the protection of the planet.
