Ahalia College of Nursing, Palakkad, celebrated Onaravam 2026 on 21 August 2026 with great enthusiasm and festive spirit, bringing together students and staff to celebrate Kerala’s rich cultural heritage. The celebration began with a traditional Pookkalam, followed by the inaugural ceremony, prayer and inaugural address by Principal Dr. Lavanya, with felicitation by Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Janula R. The day featured vibrant cultural performances by different batches and traditional games such as eating challenges, thread pulling, cup walking, object guessing and the exciting Vadam Vali competition, which promoted team spirit and friendly competition. A grand Onam Sadhya was enjoyed by all, followed by delicious payasam. The programme was well coordinated by the students under the guidance of the faculty and strengthened the spirit of unity, togetherness and cultural pride among the college community, making Onaravam 2026 a joyful and memorable celebration.
