World Heart Day was observed on 10th October 2025 at Lions Public School, Palakkad, where the VI Semester BSc Nursing students of Ahalia College of Nursing conducted an awareness program on heart health. The session focused on educating higher secondary students about Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), two vital life-saving skills during cardiac emergencies. The program included theory classes, practical demonstrations, and interactive discussions led by faculty and students. The sessions helped students understand the importance of timely intervention and emergency preparedness. Overall, the event successfully promoted awareness on cardiovascular health and encouraged young learners to take proactive steps toward heart safety.
